August 1, 2024 — Mountain Home Music Company congratulates Lonesome River Band’s Adam Miller on his nomination for the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Momentum Vocalist of the Year award.
“It’s a huge honor to be considered for the 2024 Momentum Vocalist of the Year award. I am so appreciative to even be considered among so many talented nominees,” says Miller. “Thank you so much to the band of brothers in the Lonesome River Band for all the encouragement and inspiration they give each and every week. Most of all, thank you to all those that come to the events to watch live music through the year and have shown so much kindness and support for bluegrass music. If you were not there, we would not have the job we love so much. Congratulations to all of the nominees!”
Miller joined the band in 2022 and sang lead on album title track and No. 1 song, “Heyday.” The album’s release marked a new era for the longstanding bluegrass powerhouse, which continues with this year’s release of new album, The Winning Hand.
With Miller and fellow new member, Kameron Keller, the band has refined a profoundly influential signature sound that has a seemingly endless appeal to successive generations of fans and musicians alike.
